I was born and raised on the North Side of Chicago, I am a second-generation hardwood floor installer and refinisher. As a kid, I spent my summer vacations following my father to job sites, fascinated by his ability to transform dilapidated wood into something straight out of a magazine.

Once I began working hands-on, I discovered that the true reward wasn't just the physical labor; it was the deep sense of accomplishment that comes from restoring a neglected floor to its former glory.
Seeing a homeowner’s reaction to their "new" floors for the first time never gets old. Twenty years later, I am still chasing that feeling.
